Aiptasia, a pest anemone, can quickly overrun reef aquariums if not controlled. To remove Aiptasia from your display tank, consider using targeted treatments like Aiptasia-specific chemical solutions (e.g., Aiptasia-X or Joe’s Juice). Inject these directly into the anemone with a syringe to ensure complete eradication. Biological control options include introducing natural predators like peppermint shrimp (Lysmata wurdemanni) or certain filefish (Acreichthys tomentosus), which feed on Aiptasia.
